Dr Mitchell Tanner
Dr Mitchell Tanner completed his Bachelor of Medicine (BMed) at the University of Newcastle in 2008.
Dr Tanner was made a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) in 2012.
Dr Tanner became owner of Civic Medical in 2014, and has developed and grown the business to its current point.
Dr Tanner completed his immediate post-graduate training within the local Hunter New England Health district. He has extensive links with the local Specialist Consultants within the area.
Dr Tanner completed the HETI Rural and Remote Clinical Leadership Program in 2015-16, an exclusive NSW Health program designed to improve health outcomes across all NSW Health districts by developing the skills of identified Leaders within the Health System.
Dr Tanner holds a seat on the Singleton District Hospital Clinical Council, since 2014.
Prior to commencing his tertiary studies, Dr Tanner completed his schooling locally at Singleton Heights Public School followed by Singleton High School. Dr Tanner commenced practice in Singleton in 2011.
Dr Tanner is a Singleton local and resides in town with his young family. Dr Tanner has a life long involvement with the area, and is committed to long term medical practice and excellence in Singleton.
Dr Tanner has an ongoing commitment to professional development and regularly pursues further training activities relevant to the practice.
Dr Tanners professional interests include Skin Medicine, Musculoskeletal Medicine and Men's and Women Health.
In addition to General Practice, Dr Tanner is also a Visiting Medical Officer at Singleton District Hospital. He manages patients requiring Emergency management and Inpatient medical treatment.

Dr David Woods
Dr David Woods completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) at the University of Notre Dame, Sydney, in 2011. During his 3rd year of training, Dr Woods received the Dean’s Award for personal and professional development as the student with the highest overall mark in his cohort for this domain of study. Prior to studying Medicine, Dr Woods completed a Bachelor of Biomedical Science (BBiomedSci) at the University of Newcastle.
Dr Woods was made a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP) and a Fellow in Advanced Rural General Practice (FARGP) in 2017.
Dr Woods completed his immediate post-graduate training within the local Hunter New England Health district. He then finished his formal training in Anaesthesia with the awarding of the Joint consultative committee certificate of Anaesthesia (JCCA) in 2014.
Dr Woods joined Civic Medical in 2015.
Dr Woods resides in Singleton with his young family. Dr Woods has an ongoing commitment to professional development & regularly pursues further training activities relevant to his practice.
Dr Woods professional interests include Respiratory Disorders, Chronic Disease Management and Skin disorders.
